Hi guys and good evening from Germany,

just wanted to know if anyone of you has more pictures of an USMC M1A1 called "ARES/GROUP THERAPY" ?
It's a gun tank of Charlie Company, 1 st tank btn, 1st MEF from OIF1.

I'm asking since I'd like to build as my next project as close as possible to reality.

Thanks in advance
Alex

Howdy Alex, that tank is C-14(pronounced 'Charlie One Four') and is the Platoon Sergeants Hog. Do you already have the Echelon decal set for it? Outta here, Mike sends . . .

Just keep in mind that that picture was shot on the way back to Kuwait when hostilites were pretty much over. Notice that all the crew applied motivational markings have been spray painted black as a reaction to guidance from "Higher". Though the load out is good to go.

Hi guys,
yes Mike I do already have the echelon decal set and that's the reason why I had the idea of building it.

And thanks for the link Max, oder danke wie es so schön auf deutsch heißt

Cheers

There will be a few months till building ARES/GROUP THERAPY as the budget is a little low at the moment ^^

But isn't there anybody else out there with pics of it ? Frenchy ?

Thanks again and read you soon

Hey Alex,
you could try to contact either Lawrence Goh, or Mike Mummey and ask for pics...
otherwise check check out the pics here: http://picasaweb.google.com/andy.adyns
weathering effects and basic stowage layout was pretty similar on most of the tanks assigned to first mar div., especially on sand colored abrams'...

Cheers, Max
