Here you can see the 'Rock' with his black acrylic base coat, it will serve as a first shadow layer (similar to pre-shading)

The rock is airbrushed in several layers of gray's, browns and green's, every color is also misted over the piece to blend it with each other.

Here you can see the location of the water spring, I airbrushed several greens in the path and around where the water will flow
Now I will let is rest for 48 hours and then I will apply a Sepia total wash to age the colors and start drybrushing
