Hello,

I'm planning to use the GVOSDIKA Friul Tracks ATL-56 on my SKIF MT-LB/2S1.

What I don't know, and am asking for some advice:

1 - The Friul set comes with 2 sprockets. Do they fit the kit axes?

2 - The tracks can be used with the kits original road-wheels, or they need other after-market replacement wheels?

BTW, these Friul people are strange.
When asked what Friul set they recommended for the MT-LB they asked me what a MT-LB was.
I sent them some pictures, and got no answers at all!!

Any help will be appreciated.

Regards,
Flores

Good choise of tracks mate.
The GVOSDIKA Friul Tracks ATL-56 are fine on the SKIF MT-LB/2S1,i used them on all my MTLB,MTLBU,2S1 and all 2S1 variants.
You can use either the kit or metal drive wheels as they fit both track and axels and the rest of the wheels are ok
all the best Roy

One small note, the Fruil tracks represent the old MT-LB tracks. The Master Club clickable resin tracks represent the newer ones.

Perfect choice!
Set fits perfectly in the Friulmodelismo prominently in the MT-LB vehicles and is based versions Skif scale models.
MT-LB, 2S1 and Strela-10.
Roadwheels: If you already replacing tracks, also deserves a Masterclub roller, the best there is.
Gábor.

Roy,

GOOD NEWS and thanks!!!!!

I have used Friuls twice and like them very much.
My experience with plasic tracks (ARMO and MK), although very well detailed, they are fragile and break easily with handling along time. After some repairs/glueing, they start to loose the perfect sag and appearance.

Cheers,
Flores

Hello Jacques,

Thanks for your comments, but I am no expert on track versions at all, and will check the appearances.
I have never used these clickable resin tracks, but your review called my attention to the fragility of them.
Pricewise, Friuls, MC and Miniarm are similar.
I am still to choose which to use.

Regards,
Flores

Thanks, Gábor.
First I have to decide which tracks to buy. Then, I will decide if the after-market road-wheels will be necessary.
Remeber that both after-market items (tracks and wheels) cost much more than the kit itself.

I also have a set of them, including an unbuilt 2S1 kit and Eduard pe-parts.
But connecting the metal-track would be hard work, as I tested.

Thanks, Soeren.

As I'm new to Armorama and the icon has a red "x" I thought it was disabled, but no.
Nice pictures of a nice kit.
