I am having a problem with my Badger 150 double action and I hope I can find a answer here.
I was painting my project today (with Humbrol Acrylics) and normally when you release the trigger the airflow stops.
In my case, it did not (after ± 10 minutes of painting) I cleaned the AB but still no effect.
The AB is still blowing air, luckily no paint only air.
It is very annoying because this restarts my compressor every few minutes and my kids bedroom is right above my workplace
Any suggestion??
Also, I have put the AB in a holder covered with alcohol to remove any residual paint.
I was wondering is it would harm the AB to being in the alcohol 24/7?? I am not a regular painter, but this could reduce any hidden paint particles

Your air flow valve is stuck open. The valve has either gotten gunky and sticky or it's hung on something.
Disconnect it from the air hose and you can remove the connector from the AB. Just twist the little knurled piece and the whole thing should come right out. You may need pliers to get it started. I did.
Here is a pic of an actual 150 valve assembly from my dead 150. Sorry the pic is kind of blurry. It connects to the air hose at the bottom in the pic and the top is inside the AB when assembled.
The valve is the cone like thingy at the top. It should spring up and down when you press down on it. It is shown here in the fully up/closed position. More than likely yours is stuck down or there is something stuck in the AB holding it open when it is assembled. Look up in the AB to see if there is any obstruction. You can take the assembly apart if you want, but it may kind of hard to reassemble. I've never done it. If your valve assembly is shot, I can send you this one. It works fine, the seals in mine went bad and I just replaced the AB instead since it was 12 years old. HTH.

Tim,
Tnx for the explanation.
I did remove that valve and tip is a bit bent, so that is why it is stuck :-(
PM me please to let me know howmuch you want for your old valve.
Tnx
