I'm going to build this kit, but I'm not sure about its correctness. What should be added or corrected in this kit? I have only spotted that there are some wires missing.

The tires / wheels in the AFV Club Long Tom kit are incorrect for a WWII piece. A replacement set is available from Masters Productions. They also have a dolly set, which is used when being towed by a tracked vehicle.
It appears to be a very nice kit otherwise.

One other issue is the tires are post WWII vintage. Masters Productions out of France has the correct WWII tires for it here (scroll down about half the page).
(MAAANNN, Frank beat me to it. )
The other major issue is the cradle portion of the barrel is too short. It was based on the M115 8" cannon. Here is how to fix it.

And I was thinking, that this kit will be easy to build
Has anyone got some good photos of the wires?

Gino and Frank have you straight on the changes....as far as pictures showing the brake lines and other details, check primeportal.
www.primeportal.net
You can look at either the M1 (M59) LongTom or the M115 8 inch. The carriages were the same on each.
Also check the Toadman!!

If all else fails....come back here and we will give you some more places to look

Thanks I have found there many useful pictures. So basically I have to do the wires, which go from here:
http://data3.primeportal.net/artillery/david_lueck/m1a1_155mm_long_tom/images/m1a1_155mm_long_tom_20_of_39.jpg
Through:

To here:

They look like some kind of "braking wires" which are connected to the tractor:

Has anyone got some photos of this cannon towed by HST? (I'm going to build a diorama with those veihicles). The II w.w. version didn't have any lights like this:
http://data3.primeportal.net/artillery/dieter_krause/155mm_long_tom/images/155mm_long_tom_08_of_48.jpg
Did it?
Another thing what needs to be done is this rope:
http://data3.primeportal.net/artillery/david_lueck/m1a1_155mm_long_tom/images/m1a1_155mm_long_tom_13_of_39.jpg
Hard to say what is it for.
Here you can see a pice of rope:
http://data3.primeportal.net/artillery/david_lueck/m1a1_155mm_long_tom/images/m1a1_155mm_long_tom_21_of_39.jpg
But in the kit insted of this rope there is a "drawrod ". Any ideas what should I do with this?

The prime mover for the Long Tom was the Mack NO 7 ton truck, not the M4 HST. The M4 was used to pull the smaller M1 Howitzer (later changed to M114) available from Italeri. The only Mack NO model I know of is a resin one by (I think) Tank Workshop.

Wespe models and Azimut do the resin Mack NO.

M4 HST :
Here's another one towing a 8 inch howitzer (France, July 1944) :
IIRC, the M5 HST was used to tow the M1 155mm howitzer.
