Does anyone have pictures of Strykers from the PA National Guard? I just discovered that the 1-112, Troop D based in my hometown has a few M1126s and thought it would be cool to model one. Problem is they are parked behind a fence and too far away for me to see what the markings say. Thanks

You may want to PM Rcnpthfndr. Mike and I were working on a project together and he was with the 56th. He took a few photos of 1-112 and may be able to help you out a little. Other than bumper codes there is not much though. MAYBE there will be a vehicle number on the side hull, but these were not that common.

I am currently a member of the 1-112IN and can get pictures of all of the variants.
D/112IN does not belong to either the 1-112 or 2-112IN - it is the brigade AT CO. They primarily run M1134s.
What do you need pictures of? Markings wise, there are only front/rear unit/vehicle numbers and a registration number.

nice! Someone on another site told me that the Troop based in Butler was actually A at this time. I was looking for markings for the Strykers that are based here (Butler). To my untrained eye, they look like M1126s but I wasn't sure what to put on the bumpers. When they were deployed overseas, did they remove the markings?

A CO, 1-112IN is in Butler - I deployed with them to Iraq.
They have the following variants: M1126, M1128 MGS, M1129 MC. There is an attached M1131 FSV (my vehicle - belongs to HHC).

Bumper numbers are:
(front)
[ 28ID/56 1-112IN ] [ Vehicle Number ]
(rear)
[ 28ID/56 ] [ Vehicle Number ]
[ 1-112IN ]
Vehicle numbers are company - HHC, A, B, C - followed by the vehicle number determined by platoon. In A COs case:
A-6 (Company Commander)
A-11, A-12, A -13 (1st Platoon)
A-21, A-22, A-23 (2nd Platoon)
A-31, A-32. A-33 (3rd Platoon)
A-41, A-42 (Mortars)
A-43, A-44 (MGS)
HQ-81 (FSV)
They were either painted or taped over in Iraq.

Thanks- I am working on a slat armored M1126 now so this helps. I also know what to do with the Trump M1131 I just bought! Now if someone would just release slat armor for the MGS, I will be a happy camper
Thanks again!

The MGSs were sitting up at HHCs motor pool last month - they haven't all come back from reset. I'll get pictures at drill next month - will be a couple of weeks.

Are you doing the Iraq configuration? If so, I have plenty of pics:

Yes, I planned at least the M1126 as an Iraq version. The FSG would probably be as an Iraq version as well. I might do the MGS in state side configuration simply because I don't think I have the patience to scratch build the slat.
Nice picture- That anti-sniper cover thingie should be interesting to scratch build!
