Hey guys, I want to get myself a kit of the Stug as seen on the Military channel featuring the battle of Kursk. What would be the "best" kit to pick up ...? I would like a fairly well detailed version that might not require too much after market stuff.
Cheers, Hermit

I second!
Do the Dragon StuG III ausf G early kit(s), by all means!
There is the StuG ausf G early kit 6320, and the same kit with schurtzen, 6365.
I have the 6365 kit, and it is simply great. Having the schurtzen gives you some options. And being an "early" G, you don't need to go the zimmerit routine.
There is also the StuG IV early kit (also has schurtzen and frames) - also really nice.
The StuG III will be your choice for Kursk.
Of course, we have "all" heard that Dragon is soon releasing a new StuG III F (F-8) kit ... Which would also be appropriate.
Choices choices choices!

If you haven't commited your credit card, I've got Dragon 6320 on ebay, postage would be a lot if you're not in UK.

Hi Laurie
You sound like the same Laurie a.k.a. oldcopierguy who posted this question over on Britmodeller a short while ago.
Funnily enough my suggestion on the forum was one of what has been posted here, the Stug from Dragon kit no 6320.
No offence but it would be nice if , like you have done here, you'd acknowledged the time the posters put in offering their suggestions over on Britmodeller.
It's a nice kit whatever price you get it for, hopefully you'll get a bargain.
Alan
