Thanks for your kudos and vote of confidence, Kimmo. But, can I catch my breath and regain some sanity first. I am not ready to propose anything yet other than, does anyone really want another small scale campaign this soon? Isn't there anyone else out there crazy enough to suggest or lead one? We did this with the MB campaign and look what happened! I'll let everyone think about it and send me money to buy my support.
Cheers,
Jan. I need a drink or 12

Jan, I hope that I can take it for granted that you have a graphics editing program better than paint. If so please feel free to crop the edges of these photos. I shot both front 3/4 views so that they would match if that is of any use on your end.

jeremy - I've got those pictures that you put up added and I must say that they show the Elefant well. I "hope" that I've now got everything I need but...
Dani - Glad that you like the campaign. But, what happened to those Matchbox kits that you wanted to finish? Then there is always Bigrip's "Getter Done" campaign.
I'll post here if there are any further developments.
Cheers,
Jan

Well, well, and obviously I ignored the alarm for a page change and here we are at PAGE 47 and still chugging away. THe master chart is pretty much redundant now so instead I'll post the summary one here as it's close enough to the top of a page. ;-)
For those statistically inclined, with 58 final enlistees and 32 completers we end up with a 55.172% completions rate. Not up to the Matchbox campaign but far from shabby compared to a lot of other campaigns. Then again, the number of builds for the number produced by those that completed the campaign has to be some kind of record!
Dani - I'm sure that I will be seeing you and your builds around in a few other campaigns.
Jeremy - I hope that you (and everyone else) can be patient because as I've mentioned, this is going to take a while to have the feature ready. On the other hand, don't be surprised if you drop by this thread and are treated to a sneak peak or two by either Matthew or myself. IIRC, we even had a couple of videos posted during the last campaign to keep the excitement going.
Cheers,
Jan

Jan,
Thanks for the ribbon, but the real thanks goes for a campaign that forced me to do a 1/72 armor kit and for the visit to the optomitrist again to have some special glasses made to give me the ability to see what was before me and the practice that the campaign gave me to make these tree stub fingers work with miniscule parts will come in handy with the 1/35 parts that I complain about

Well, my wife and I are packed up and ready to head off to Melbourne Model Expo this coming week. It is a 4 hour flight from Perth to Melbourne, but the flight time is worth it.
I am taking the BA-6, a BTR-80 and a Crusader III for my competition entries this year. Model Expo is the nationals down under and is a great place to be for three days.

@Bob - I am glad you gave my scale a try and can possibly see the benefits of the exercise. They should come in handy and make building larger scale "chunks" that much easier. As I have often said, the right tools for the right job and in this case, tweezers and enhanced optics.
@Jeremy - I am very glad that you enjoyed yourself and this campaign. It was a main purpose to expose people to the potential that small scale has and awaken abilities that perhaps they didn't know they had.
@Michael - good luck on your competition and a safe journey for you and your wife and the models. I hate to think how you might have to pack them for the trip (the models, not the spouse).
Cheers,
Jab

Every time I think that I've gotten on top of things I notice that I forgot something. There were an additional 20 pictures that were somehow not processed in my original run through. That has swelled the offline gallery to 171 images! For the sake of helping some with loading the gallery and due to limitations of some of my software, I have split the original single gallery into two parts.
Members with callsigns from 'A' to 'K' can find their submitted photos in Gallery 1. Callsigns from 'L' to 'Z' with find their's in Gallery 2. This should be the final pictures that will be used for the feature. You can preview them @:
http://bbcampaign.blogsite.org/
Please note that they are not in their final format and only a few have been edited. Also, a round of applause for all, we have broken the 49,000 view barrier. So much for those that say small scale isn't taken seriously!
Cheers,
Jan

Crivens...
- we are smiling photos!
There have I been taking a rest indulging in some secret 1/35 scale building (there is a stash that needs to be processed into finished items you see) and then I see there is this result of all that manic braille scale activity . . .
Super campaign, great looking photos and wonderful models by all concerned. Well done, and thanks to Jan.

Thanks for the kind works about the offline gallery, gang. I felt that you participants should at least see some of the preliminary stuff for the feature.
Erhan, have I not enough problems without you creating more for me! Thanks to you we are now up to 175 potential images and there is still one person that, due to personal issues, cannot post until early next month. So the gallery should grow by a couple of more images.
1/35 ??????? XO, it appears that I shall be required to call your local authorities to have the people in the white coats and the pleasantly padded truck come and take you away before you do yourself a mischief. The only kit in the aforementioned obnoxious scale that I possess is an ESCI BMP-2 purchased decades ago for the purposes of measuring it out to scratch a more acceptable 1/72 version. I still have some preliminary scale drawings of my stalled project but during my absence from the hobby it appears that a couple of manufacturers have remedied the omission and made the project pointless.
I will contact you via alternate channels to discuss the further preparations of the images.
________________________________________________________
I have made a few changes to the chart above but for the most part, they are moot. What really matters in that chart is that everyone listed there completed the campaign and received their awards.
Now a Request for Volunteer(s) - I have done a rough count on how many individual subjects/models were built during this campaign. The results so far suggest that there are [58] builds. What I would like and appreciate is if one or two of you might find the time to go through the off-site galleries and tally up the individual builds. This can be considered assisting with the creation of the future feature and as such those helping will have themselves credited in the feature text as having assisted.
Phase one of my "Panzer-Roof" was begun last week. Our cedar shake dormer was stripped, examined and re-clad in ballistic materials in preparation for the rest of the project. This was delayed and so is phase two due to ridiculously bad weather in our area. The contractors throughout the region are delayed and we see more and more buildings now covered with plastic sheeting and tarps. In our case at least, a start has been made and we have a tentative time frame of two weeks to wait before the project can be completed. Weather permitting!
Cheers,
Jan

Jan,
Is it too late for me to post gallery photos of my final builds? I've already posted some not very good flash shots on the forum on the last scheduled day but I was hoping to post some outdoor shots (except that every time I've got a few minutes to spare the sun goes in - it's most inconsiderate!!).
Once again thanks to all for making this such a great campaign!!
Cheers,
John

John, I may regret opening this "can of worms" but if you post a better picture of one of your completed builds in this thread, we'll see what we can do about substituting it for one we already have. Better still, post the new picture and specify which one you would like it to replace. Since all images have the builders callsign and a unique number they can be easily identified.

Bob: Thanks for the support, do you want to split the galleries? One of us can work the gallery one, while the other works through gallery 2.
