well i'm still fairly new to modelling and have just finished my second set of figures. the first was the vimpel special forces kit by zvezda and i just finished the ksk german commando kit by trumpeter (no photos yet). basically i'd rather build modern kits like the above mentioned and my local model shop has ordered the pmc in iraq kit but after thats done i'm not sure what to build next. so any recommendations on modern figure kits would be great = )

The figures are expensive for just two in fairly non-descript postures but the detail is unbeleviable.

I've also heard Masterclub are damn good aswell:

If you are looking for modern figures I would recommend going for resin stuff as the detail is far better than any injection moulded kits.

I agree about the Alpine figures, having used them for my Abrams, I have to say they are amazingly well sculpted.

These 3 are very nice and they're modern!
The only problem is painting the US camo which is a real b!@#h to paint!
