Dear all,
I saw a couple of pics of Tamiya/MRC Berlin headquaters time capsule.
a) Which Tamiya kit is it, what does it consist of?
b) Anyone know where to get a cheap kit of this?
Cheers

Evey once in a while you will see one on E-Bay. Unless you find one at a dealer who specializes in rare kits. I remember haveing one when I was just starting to build models. Good luck

I don't recall the exact name or stock number of that figure set - perhaps it was just their early "German Army Infantry"? I do remember it was one that was available apart from the "Time Capsule" series. There were about a handful of these - El Alamein, Remagen, Leningrad, plus a few others. Novel idea at the time, but a bit kitschy by today's standards.

The "Time Capsule" series dates from the late '60s / early '70s, and is simply boxings of the various ancient (and horrible!!) Tamiya figure sets of the day, together with a basic diorama base.
Of interest perhaps to the collector of old kits, but probably not to the 21st century modeller. So if you're the latter, they're best avoided really.
