wow this cobble sotne is killing me i can't get it down.i used the double sided tape but it's not strong enough so now i'm going to go try putting the double sided tape down the put duct tape ove it then the beans may satick better. i you have any tips on the soble stone than please tell me

From my one attempt at this method ...... I had the same problems. If you can be sure that the base wont get too much abuse the tape will be OK. It is only for a little security until you start adding the paste. I would actually lay a coat of diluted white glue first .. for extra security before the spackel...... then you can play baout a bit getting the spackel right and the lentils wont move! When the white glue is hard (24hrs) there should be no problems!
Your idea with the duct tape sounds good as well! Worth a try. Actually before you lay 100s of lentils try a little square first ... then if it goes wrong you didnt spend X amount of hours laying them!!

the duct tape did work luckily. i know need to know how to do the grout/morter. i sprinked the powder part of POP and am gonna try spraying with a squirt bottle.to mix it. if you have better suggestions please share.

To cover up your cobblestones your might try wallspackle. It comes in a tube and it`s really cheap (ask for it at your nearest DIY shop). Put some spackle on a piece of paper and smear it over your cobble stone road. Do it with something soft to let the stones coe through it or do it in small section and then stroke over it with an old toothbrush or something like that. to let the stones come through
