Well been a bit since Ive posted...

Finally decided to mess around with a humvee as I got tired building 1025's and honestly I had a ton of fun doing this and can't wait to get my hands on a 1151. Was a great learning experience, the only other resin Am I've ever worked with is Legends M2A3 and Abrams Tusk conversion.

Never seen a 1114 in person in my life, maybe at Ft Dix one time, but don't think so, so forgive me on this one. I threw some markings on it, and by looking at some other threads a few add on stuff just to make it more lively. I wanted to do a little more with it but for the life of me I couldn't find any plastic sheet to work with, and didn't feel like ordering any. Maybe next time lol.

Let me know what you think.

Regards

EDIT Hahah, funny how many things you notice just by taking the time to look at a picture. Yes, yes I forgot the wipers...

Not too much too complain about at all, the only thing, and you can see it, is the small gaps in between the doors and roof, and in the back above the tailgate. Nothing that cant be fixed though.

Nice work. I am just starting on that set myself. Well done. Just 1 minor suggestion. The front wheels are not sitting flat, just need to rotate them a bit. Fantastic work overall. Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Looks great. Can I suggest when you get around to adding the wipers you also add the two antennas? Stretched sprue or guitar string should finsh it nicely

Nice looking truck.

How did the Rhino device go together?

A little more work, definitely worth it. Thank you for the feedback.

@Karl, The Rhino mast went together very smoothly, took no more than 10 min. to put together, mostly PE, the only resin being the actual device.

@Juan, mirrors are naked, they will get some silver and hopefully echelon mirrors soon.

I think it looks the part. However, the dirty windshield, while very nicely executed, is a tad overdone. (Once again, someone can post dozens of photos to prove me wrong, however....) It doesn't rain that often in Iraq. And whether from road spray or just plain old dust out in the Jazeera Desert, windshields rarely have time to get that dirty. Our SOP was that at every security halt one man would clean them. You can't see threats through dirty windows, and we took this very seriously. Just my two cents from a dude who makes his living in the turret.
