Dear friends,
I am new to Sherman tanks, I have built one M4A3 75mm late with this exact marking seen in the link below
http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/35250sherman75/sherman75.jpg
My OD looks really dark and dull, even with the decals applied already, the tank looks dull.
I was contemplating spray a layer of white wash camo over it showing the markings- Can I check if this tank spots any white camo at all thru the ardennes campaign?
I know this question is kinda too specific...sherman experts, please help
Cheers

I can't speak for the particular tank depicted in the kit decals, as the unit insignia are not visible in the publicity shot, but plenty of photos exist of Shermans in late December, 1944, and January, 1945 in whitewash. During the first part of the Ardennes Offensive, there was no snow on the ground, so US and German tanks remained in their temperate camouflage, but units which had a brief opportunity later in December applied winter white--some units never had time, though.
