Just a head's up for those that love mom. Great Models is having a sale to celebrate Moms. Their pitch is - if dad's happy than mom is too. Hey it works for me.

I was just reading a thread at RMS about the poor service at Greatmodels. I've seen simular complaints about them in the past and so have stayed away. Has anyone here had problems there? They seem to have some good prices.

I had one little glitch with them at Christams time. I've used them a dozen times before with no problems though.
I don't know what's up with them, but I've heard that others have had troubles with them before.

I have a small question.. What if Mom builds models? What kinda deal does she get from Great Models? A free kit would be a great Mom's Day present. :-)

I ordered several like items from them and Squadron. By the time I got my Squadron order (items were about 10% more than at G-M), G-M was still "looking" for a couple of items. I just cancelled those missing items and had them send what they had on order. Depends on your preferences.
