Hi friends, here come with my new preview of how to make date palm in 1/35 scale. This date palm tree can use for diorama scene of Iraq war or others depend on your decide. Thanks to every reply and comments.

prepare palm leafs (8x3cm.) and stick to wires (30cm.) for 36pcs.

I use grass flower in yellow color add to palm leafs.

bundle 20 pcs. of grass flower to flora wire with flora tape.

I use brandy glass for mini scene.

drop little gypsum plaster mix with color depend on what you like.

use art clay and wrap to tree trunk.

Problem to my eyesight about figures painting and waiting to my new magnifying glass to do it. Thank you.

That's a nice way of doing it. It really blends the fronds with the trunk.

That's an outstanding Date tree! Are the fronds painted paper glued to floral stem wire? If so, what kind of paper do you use?
Very creative base!
Cheers!

Hi Rick, thanks for your reply. Yes, I glue it to the wire and paper that I use is 60 gram office depot paper white color and spray it with medium green. Thanks a lot.

Nice job fast and sweet.
Is that Das pronto for the clay?
Plus do like the brandy glass but I am more into the other kind of glass whiskey.
Seems webshots will not display your site.
Try Photobucket.

Thanks for the idea.

Prasert,

I sure do enjoy your tutorial. Makes it much easier than using Avocado leaves. Great tips!

cheers, Ski.
