Hi guys,

It has been a while sins I last posted some of my work here, most of what I am building now a days goes to SMMI magazine so I can't always post pictures of my stuff.

Same goes for my latest model, Verlinden/Trophy's good old BTR-60 that will be featured but I could share some of the photos with you guys of this one.
The figure next to the model is also a Verlinden item

An old but nice little beasty to build

Cheers,

JW

Nice one, but the status indicator lights were just little white hood, what you painted, that's a shade wrapper.
These will replace the green front, red rear filter cartridge, it is flatter.

Thanks for showing your build!
Your "diorama" looks naked but the vehicle looks very good!

I also built one of Verlinden´s heavy resin-kits... the SA-9 Gaskin, which was a good kit.
But at that time I had some problems to build the holder for the launch-containers of the missiles. (surface to air missles)

greetings...
Soeren

KPVT 14.5 mm machine gun on top of a knob, birch wood.
There will be exchanged if the tube, not to burn your hands.

It would be one more little thing: the Soviet vehicle (BRDM, BTR, and other) from the inside white, the lower one third of gray.
The white color is chosen as psychological reasons, the battlefield for this color is the least shock will overcome the operators.
The manhole (inside edge) is white, the door itself is green.

Very nice work, and life-like the Soviet armored officer as well!
Congratulations!

Thanks guys, and thank you Juhász for al that additional information. To bad it came to late for this one but when Trumpeter brings out the BTR I'll be keeping the tips in mind.

Cheers,

Nice job!

I prefer to see vehicles *slightly* more weathered, but that's just a personal thing and takes nothing away from the quality of the build.

The figure is top-notch. Thanks for sharing.

I usually do a bit more weathering on my models, but I wanted to keep it clean for a change.
