Hello All Canadian Armour Enthusiasts,
I have finally finished the Leo 1 Series DVD of Pics. Compared to the Leo2 DVD 2600+ pics, this DVD has only 1400+ pics. Sorry, the Leo 2 was after all the new kid on the block, and the slat armour details took alot of picture space. On this DVD, the format is the same, pics are divided into folders as on the Leo 2 DVD. Alot of the LeoC2 overall was covered, but there are folders dedicated to the Mine Roller and Mine Dozer, both mounted and dismounted. The Badger has a folder dedicated to the Hydraulic Boom/Bucket and the dozer blade. The Taurus is divided in to folders that cover the entire vehicle. At the time I was there, the Taurus was basically remaining on the FOB as a workhorse. I do not know if that is still the case.
If you wish a copy please email me at [email protected] for details.
I should also put forward some questions/concerns that were emailed me reference the Leo2 DVD.
-I will not be putting these pics on the internet
-I will not be publishing a book, believe me, the DVD is much cheaper
-I am only doing this to provide reference material for fellow armour enthusiasts, not to make money. On saying that, PLEASE DO NOT COPY OR REDISTRIBUTE THESE DVDS, just a matter of principle. As armour model enthusiasts I hope my requests will be respected.
So, here are some sample pics from the Leo 1 DVD.
Enjoy

Excellent work Ken,
I look forward to getting the DVD. Should be a hit with all the interest in Canadian AFVs in Afghanistan.

Ya, the Leo 2 disk is super. I dunno how Ken managed to take so many pictures of one vehicle, I would've gone nuts.

OK folks, I had time to go over Ken's latest photo reference DVD for the Canadian Leopard 1 series in Afghanistan and once again we have a winner.
The DVD covers the Leopard C2 MEXAS, Taurus ARV, and the Badger AEV.
The Leopard C2 MEXAS image folders....
Leopard C2 MEXAS
1. Walkaround
2. Hull Front
3. Hull Bottom
4. Hull Side
5. Hull Rear
6. Hull Top
7. 105 mm barrel
8. Mantlet
9. Gunner's sight
10. Commander's Hatch Area
11. Loader's Hatch Area
12. MBGDs
13. Turret MEXAS Armour
14. Turret A/C Unit (actually the Chiller Unit for the cooling vests)
15. Turret Stowage
16. General Views
Mine Plow
1. Mine Plow Dismounted
2. Mine Plow Mounted
Mine Roller
1. Roller Dismounted
2. Roller Mounted
Adaptor Roller Bra
Dozer Unit
Badger AEV image folders.......
1. Walkaround
2. Hull Front
3. Hull Top
4. Hull Left Side
5. Hul Right Side
6. Hull Rear
7. Rear Deck
8. Dozer Blade
9. Hydraulic Boom and Bucket
10. Commander's Hatch
11. Driver's Hatch
12. Suspension
Taurus ARV image folders......
1. Hull Front
2. Hull Left
3. Hull Right
4. Hull Rear
5. Hull Top
6. Suspension
7. Boom
Overall this is once again a very good reference DVD full of overview and detail images of the Leopard 1 series used by Canada in Afghanistan. Compared to the Leopard 2 series DVD some of the images in the Leopard 1 series are not as clear and crisp as seen in the Leopard 2 DVD but they are still valuable images of the vehicles in a very worn and weathered state.
At $9.99 Cdn for Canadian sales, $10.50 U.S. for U.S. sales, and $14.00 U.S. for the rest of the world sales the DVD is chocked full of great images that show all of the exterior of the vehicles.....well worth buying.
Keep 'em coming Ken!
