Yeah.....good set but.....

1)Why do you miss the wading rail that runs around the engine grilles?!

2)You could also add the stripes that fix the dust cover over the main gun and made them with holes for screw and nuts...

3)Why not an extra set with armored engine covers?!(like eduard style)

these are a standard features of the T-55s and it's really a shame that you miss these.

Sorry to be rude and not so happy about this release....but we also have Aber -Eduard-Part -Royal Model pe set....yeah with the same errors.

If you don't sell them at a low cost(compared with aber)..which is the advantage to get VM set?!?

Cheers

I pretty much agree to what Ciro said.
Make the wading rails and I'll buy a couple of sets. Otherwise I'll probably stick to my 3x Aber and 2x Eduard. Not becourse there's something terrible wrong with your new set. It just dosen't seem to add anything beside what the other producers already offer in theirs.

Perhaps this will sell itself on markets not exposed for the other sets or becourse of a good price. Then I still suggest you release a separate set with the wading strips. It's needed for all Russian produced T-55s.

Hi,

Your set looks very nice and very detailed, BUT Ciro and Erik are 100% correct. Like many T-55 builders I already have several eduard and aber sets. I don't have the part set for the same reason I wont get yours, there is nothing new I haven't already got in my eduard/aber sets worth buying another set for?
As well as the ideas the guys have above, why do you or other manufacturers not bring out an engine deck insert to correct Tamiyas, inclusive of details listed above? Hell, why don't Tamiya do it?
If it sells cheap, on the sites like hobbyeasy and or luckymodel I might get one, but only if it's cheeeeeap!
Sorry if this sounds negative, but T-55 fans are looking for innovation and always the solution for a perfect T-55!
Thanks,
Glen

WADING RAIL, WADING RAIL, WADING RAIL.....Another glaring error..... Like has been said......why this keeps getting missed is beyond me...?..it only takes an e-mail to a few people to search for reference....I am willing to offer assistance with any reference needed......i am sure there are others too who would be willing......If an etch upgrade set was done correctly....i would buy quite a few sets....
