Hi guys,
I normally don't dabble in Allied Armo(u)r, but I had been told that Revell's Cromwell was such a fantastic kit, that I had to give it a try. And, you know, it is !
Knowing near to nothing about this kit, there are probably errors in details and color that I didn't spot. You don't need to be too gentle on me; just rub it in !
The kit is a real gem, and if it weren't OOP, I'd build another one straightaway.
You can read more about my experiences here.
Thanks for watching !
Rob

Looks good to me. The tracks kinda toe inward when viewed from the rear shot - just check that on the next build. nice paint and weathering

Thanks Greg,
I hadn't noticed it myself. It is the right rear part that toes inward. I think I will be able to (partially) correct it.
It's those kind of feedbacks that help !
Cheers

Rob,
Other than what has been already posted concerning your build, you've put together a vary nice piece. I like how you faded the white star against the darker olive drab paint scheme. Nice job on the weathering too!
Again, thanks for sharing your builds.

Well it looks mighty fine to me!
The paintwork looks nicely faded without going over the top as seems to be the current trend.

Eddy,
thanks for the comments.
The star was weathered, first by softening it with setting solution and scratching it with a sharpened tooth pick. The the traditional washes followed.
Thanks Michael,
as I hadn't done much OD before (this is only my second non-German kit ever), I wasn't to sure how to weather it. It seems OD (and hence allied) tanks are far easier to paint convincingly than those adorned with an ambush scheme. :-)
Cheers

You need to go Russian
You can vary Russian Green as much as you desire and still be right!

Thanks Dani,
glad you like.
Admittedly, it is far easier to do a good job when the kit is this good.
;-)
