I want to build an accurate modern representation of the Warrior OPV(Observaton Post Vehicle) which uses the MSTAR battlefield surveillance radar as currently deployed. I plan on going with the Accurate Armour "C060 FV514 Warrior OPV + MSTAR" conversion set.

Question - which is the appropriate donor kit - the Academy Warrior MCV (#1365) or the Academy Warrior "Iraq 2003" (#13201).

Also - anyone who's built this converision care to share links/blog?

Many thanks!

The two Academy kits are essentially the same with the later kit have additional sprues of chairs, bins, and other accessories and a better representation of the nose armor.

But the Accurate Armour C60 set has the resin nose armor pieces as well. I"ve got it but haven't used it yet.

Thanks Paul - sounds like the same kit essentially with extra bits.

I have built the kits you are talking about. The Accurate Armour set went on the donor kit with very little problem. It was a very fast build. It is currently in the paint phase (where it has been for a very, VERY long time).

You should not have much problem with building it as AA did a great job.
