Do I need any special parts to mount a 88 on an Fammo? And, Can I buy just the trailer for the Fammo.

No and No! Sorry, but no, you will need more detail parts to mount the Flak 88 onto the FAMO. I believe that at least one, if not two, resin companies will be having this out before the end of this year. As for the second, no Mr. Tamiya has not approved the sole sale of the trailer. SO if you want the trailer, you MUUST buy the FAMO/Trailer combination kit.

snafu. the trailer is available from DES KITS!!!!!! A frech company that is rather decent. They are all resin and prices of full resin kits. it may be cheeper to by a new famo kit. STUG

Depends on if you are a bolt-counter or are looking to be creative.
If a bolt counter, then there is quite a bit of work for you to do to make the Famo/88 version.
If looking to have fun, just mount the 88 on the back of the Famo, and bolt it down in a expediant manner. So far as I know, not historically accurate, but it would be something the germans would do in a tight spot.

as for the trailer why not try and order it as spares as you can order replacement sprues
though a number of agents at least then you'd only have the parts you want

Thanks for the infor,I got this Famo for Xmas,I haven't done any modeling for 40 years so I'm atta loss about how to start on something this large.Looking for good Ideas.Again thanks.
