Hi,

This is the first time posting my work on Armorama.
I'm 13 and have been scale modelling for a little over two years.
The model is Dragons Jagdpanther late production smart kit.
It has been painted and weathered with Tamiya acrylics, 502 abteilung oils,
and Mig pigments. The camouflage scheme was done with my Grex Genesis Xt. All comments are welcome.

I hope the photos are okay, I've been trying to improve them for a while.

I think it's a nice lookin' Jagdpanther...chipping is nicely done and the paintjob as well.

Great job, especially when you are saying that you are only 13 years old...

keep up the good work!

jiminy cricket... that's a really nice version of this model you have assembled and painted! really clean work with great touches on the details and a great handle on the camo paint scheme buddy. at this rate you'll be getting your work published when you turn 15. cheers, mh.

Wow! That's excellent work - really.

I won't even patronise you by adding the caveat "for your age" because it's a great-looking Jagdpanther, period.

The only thing I'd suggest is maybe dry-brush the tracks with a metallic steel colour to make them look a bit more .... well .... metallic.

Great job!

Great looking Jagdpanther. If I might offer a small hint - the C hooks didn't just sit on their posts - each post had a pin through the end, held on with a small length of chain, whose purpose was to stop the C hook falling off.

Keep up the good work.

Hi,

Thanks for all the comments guys.
I forgot to say in the original post that this is gonna be going into a diorama which I will post on the diorama forum. I might make it a build log as its still in its early stages. About the tracks, in my original plan for painting the vehicle I was going to drybrush them but I thought it might be a little tedious to cover the length of track lying on top of the road wheels. So I thought I'd leave it be as it might look a little odd if only a few areas were drybrushed. As for the chains I dont think I will add them at this stage in the model but thank you for the tip.

Evan
