The latest news from Cambridge MAFVA is that the Branch Secretary, Simon Ward, has set up a Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Cambridge-MAFVA/133003563389515?ref=ts .
On it he has posted photo reports of various events attended by Cambridge MAFVA and also a video nasty that he produced of the 2010 MAFVA Nationals. This movie, complete with soundtrack, starts of rather well but then degenerates as the 'usual suspects' appear. It starts with the setting up of the marquee, the arrival of traders and clubs, gives a vivid impression of the show through its various stages on the day, a trip round some of the visiting military vehicles, the prize-giving, and the close-down. Tom Cole undoubtably won the wet T-Shirt competition as the heavens had opened as we were packing up.
It is well worth a viewing as a record of the event.
