These are quite nice looking figures and im sure the IDF figures will come in very useful.
I am however struggling to like the modern US figures. The poses look ok and quite interesting, however the gear on some of the just doesnt look right.
First these two:
Not sure what the uniforms are supposed to be. The helmets are either not supposed to be ACH's or are just wrong looking. The gear is odd as well, neither of them wear IBA's, the guy on the left seems to be wearing a MOLLE vest, while the other figure looks like he has a non-issue rig on. Im not much of a fan of the way the left guy is holding his gun either and given that he has a hand-set a radio pack would have been useful.
And this guy:
Seems to wear the newer ACU IBA with additional PALS webbing grid, yet appears to wear the older ALICE ammo pouches. The clothing certainly isnt ACU either. Pose looks a little goofy.
I have to say I love the pose of that figure, but again the gear puzzles me. The helmet shape again doesnt look like an ACH, the uniform isnt ACU, appears to be wearing no body armor and once again a none issue chest rig. The canteen case looks odd as well.
The other 3 modern Americans look ok. Im just left wondering if these figures are supposed to be from the beginning of the conflict, special forces or something else...?

Could it be that the MOLLE vest loops are too big?
The last one, the runner without the kneepads, is IDF, not US, so that explains why the vest is different.
I think they look all right, considering that they're $10 USD each...

That last figure is US not IDF, at least its listed as such on both Masterclub and Hobbyeasy's webite.
Its not really an issue with the size of the loops, more that the figures are wearing an odd mix of equipments and dont really represent modern up to date American soldiers at all. As I mentioned none of these shown ACU's, the top two figures are just plain odd-no IBA, none issue vests etc etc. At first i was incredibly happy with these, even sticking them in my cart and hobbyeasy, but the more I look the more they dont look right. And considering how incredible MC's modern Russian figures were, i'd expect better on these.

Why do you say the last one is IDF? I cannot identify his gear as IDF, neither tankers gear nor infantry, not Mat Kal either....
I think he is a not so accurate US one, indeed.
By the way, weapons seem a bit "small" to my eyes
Legend's recent US figures are about $10/11 too, and seem better to me

Hey guys, these figures don't look right to me either. The sculpting is nicely done, but I just got out of the service and have been in prior to OIF1 up to now and I've seen a mixture of gear worn. But I have to say this by far strange to me, no IBA or IOTV on some of the figures would no even be correct for a combat zone. Also I don't know about the rest of you, but the one figure with his pants legs out of the his boots is not right either. If my SGM saw me doing this or anyone else, I would of got my butt chewed out. All the figures apear to be wearing ACH helmuts, but are missing the very noticeable conecting clip for the chin strap. The goggles look starnge also, too thin, nothing like the oakly's or wiley-x's used

I quite agree about the trousers-ive yet to see a picture of a US combat soldier with his pants like that. The helmets seem dodgy to me as well, just doesnt look right for a ACH, the front and back looks too slopped.

Sorry, was looking at the wrong one and I didn't open the other photos to take a better look. The last one appears to be wearing the same vest as the DML Delta Force set as evident by the cross-stiches on the side.
As I said before, makes one wonder...especially when there are really accurate 1/6 dolls of modern US soldiers. Why not just copy off the dolls?

Who really knows, it's not like it's real hard to model us equipment and clothing. Just go to any surplus store or even the net has alot a model company can pick to copy. But still it's nice that someone is attempting to give us more options even they may not be correct at times
