Hi Guys
I am building the Tamiya Willys Jeep and a bit of help with the correct colours to paint the figure supplied.
According to the instructions it shuld be XF-60 dark Yellow for the Jacket and XF-52 Flat Earth for the trousers.
That sounds wrong to me, so what colur should they be (Tamiya or Vallejo).
Thanks
Paul

Greenish ...
The variaty is huge, as the US uniforms seems to be very prone to fading and apparently allso displayed a huge variaty in the color of the dye used at coloring the fabric.
I will suggest doing a google picture search using "us soldiers wwII" wich will give you alot of inspiration.
Cheers/Jan

Conversion charts to Tamiya are available on the IPMS Stockholm site, and to Vallejo on their own site.

Thanks for the replies guys
Thanks for the link Marc but just to confuse the issue
It could also be this one
http://www.militarytour.com/Reproductions/WW11/American/Medals/M41.htm
The colour in this link is more like the original one I bought from Army Surplus in the 60's, which is more green than yellow.
