Hello,
would you be so kind and help me with the issue? What kind of (personal, not mounted on vehicles) smoke grenades were used by british forces in Iraq in 1991.
As the shapes of the can are pretty much the same it is more the colour of the can I need to know. Was it more the US style (olive green with particular smoke colour strip) or the one UK uses now (very light green colour only with text on it)???
Thanks for any answer
Jiri

the colour is light green overall with a 1in band near the top showing what colour the smoke gren is, with the wording in the same colour,
White Phos has a different shape to the base ,,_/ and is painted darker green with a brown band round the top and markings in light green, this was an update to the older model, still the same shape just newer fuze and charge from what i remember.
