hello every one.
i recently went to the last model shop in my neck of the woods that worth their salt. i was getting supplies for my t34/76 chtz.
so i walked by the consignment rack and i saw 2 T-70's. one was in a tachmod box and the other is a toga box.
after some haggling with the Miss's i was able to get one of them. the techmod was 14.00 and the toga 10. the store owner let me open them and see.
there were the same kit just different boxing and the techmod had new track link.
so i got the toga.
i looked and saw a guy on here that did a review and build of the same kit. he spoke about dimension issues but did not elaborate on which issue there are with the hull.
i check out prime portal and i think their t-70 is a t70M so its slightly different. notably the different commanders hatch with radio equipment and periscope. so the just on basic stuff from that is useful.
the issues so far is the exhaust pipes are slightly misshapen and the rivets are slightly out of scale. there is a missing machine cover that is under the exhaust pipes. also there are two missing attachment points on the turret.
any thing else i am missing?
thanks

Hi

I've done some notes on the various russian light tank kits here.

http://ampsnz.hobbyvista.com/articles/Research/WWII/Russia/Tank/Russian%20Light%20Tank%20Kits.htm

Its a bit of a heavyweight document - but there is a section on the various T-70 kits

ok....I built the Toga kits about 10 years ago.....it's marginal at best...I'd trash it and buy the Mini-art kit......now if you want a good book on it, I'd go to Jadar and purchase the MIlitiara book on the T-70...lots of pictures, lots of drawings and lots of color profiles. Fab book!....
