Hi,

I appreciate that the Tamiya kits are old and have considerable inaccuracies but I still want to build one.

My question is that there are two versions being retailed - 'Forced Recon' and 'European Campaign'.

I've tried research but without much luck.

Not sure which one to buy and as it will be an online purchase I can't look at the boxes. My local hobby store don't have any.

Can anyone tell me the differences between these two please?

Cheers,

Nigel

Hi Nigel got both these kits and the parent kit 35089, basically their all the same kit, the only difference being the figures included, and the stowage, and weapons 35089 is for north africa only, this is also the oldest of the three kits 35175 (European campaign) has the crew from 35089, but has three new figures in relaxed poses, plus new stowage items including sten's and a piat anti-tank gun. the final kit 35249 again is the basic 35089 kit with the same figures for north africa, but has three new figures from the european theater in a more action orientated poses. hope this helps mate, personally i'd get both

Thanks for the help. Leaning towards the 'European Campaign' just because of the PIAT.

Do you know if either have markings for the 'Polar Bears' - I'm eading a book about them at the moment so that would be decider.

Cheers,

Nigel
