Hi
Apologises for posting a link to another site but I thought you''d like to see images of the latest diorama from Daniel Capuano . Dan's been doing stunning dioramas for some time but sadly doesn't appear to post on armorama.
Anyway here is something to enjoy and admire

I love the scale of Dan's dioramas.
I think it might be an OOP Custom Dioramics kit
Though unless I dreamt it Jim Rae was looking for measurements for trams to pass on to either Miniart or Masterbox earlier this year

Simon noticed the windows too. Wasn't going to mention it unless someone else did. This really is a very fine dio though. Great job. I have a picture that my dad took of a burned out trolly, somewhere in Belgium. I would like to model one. .........Maybe MiniArt will prduce one sometime. Could scratch build one from a photo...........Al

I think that all projects have there faults, some less noticeable than others. But hey, when has art ever been perfect?
This is one awesome diorama, faults or not, and I thank you for sharing the link with us Alan.

Hey I like this a lot. The use of various vertical elements is beaut, and the fact that the human element plays out along the centre of scene.
I like the fact that the sniper isn't hidden in the scene, but the characters are reacting to the danger coming fom 'off-screen'. The brook is well done and looks very natural. More a timeline error or figure avilability, but I doubt that the wounded paratrooper being dragged to cover would already have the wound attended to?
A great finish with the colours tying together well...

Alan thanks for the link, that was done really nice. and even if another site, I think it adds to what we all do and that we can all appreciate miniature work no matter where it is located at.

The taller of the two buildings is our "Brick ruins" kit. He added a roof & really did a great job painting it. Great dio!
