hello all,
im finishing up my 1:35th Pz.II and want to put a figure with it, maybe the tank commander, but im not sure what uniform is needed.
the panzer is from 22nd Pz.Div., no. 942, stalingrad 1942. the kit is from
cybberhobby. any suggestions on uiniform type and figure?

For the late summer/early fall part of the campaign, black wool Panzer uniform with pink collar piping. Back sidecap with pink piping as well, as the beret of the 1939-40 period was long gone, and the mountain cap had not been introduced for other branches of service yet.
Winter uniforms for tank crew were the same reversible snowsuits worn by the infantry (white on one side, splinter pattern cammo or plain gray on the other). Gray woolen toque was sometimes worn to keep the head warm.

I agree, but would add that, if you don't find a suitable figure with the mentioned types of headgear, the Schirmmutze would sometimes also be worn by tank commanders.
