Our persistent spammer is back - this time on the Figures forum! Same "money while you sleep" garbage as last time, but new user name/callsign: alimushtko. Given the message is exactly the same, is there anything in it we can use to identify the creep and keep him/her from just joining up yet again under a new ID?

That's a new idea for Subscriber perks - a "nuke' em" button! What i wouldn't pay for one of those...

I hate spammers. Count me in Joe. This is for the A$$ Beating Campaign, right? I guess we need a banner too.

I still think those poor Spammers need our help and understanding.
They need more and better email-addresses to spam. Like that of their friendly neighborhood Don/Oyabun/Mountain Master...

Well then volunteer to moderate a discussion group. No self respecting site administrator would ever give users other than moderators the ability to delete other member's posts.
All we need is a "Report Spam" button which reports an allegedly spam post to the relevant DG moderator.

Rudi,
That' "report spam" button is actually a very good idea that hopefully Jim can take up, but rest assured I wasn't asking for permission to delete anyone's posts. Instead, I want a button that makes the spammer's computer explode! Or at least launched a spammer-seeking missile...
Ya gotta dream!

Hello Sir my name is Mr. ZAKI M'BOTO of the Royal Nigerian Reserve of Scale Models and I write to you with a mose urgent and important matter at hand.
One of my clients, the late Moses Odiaka, was a great billionaire and an avid scale modeller with over 20,000 kits of Dragon, Hobbyboss, Tristar, Tamiya and other manufacturers stored in one of the accounts.
He died suddenly of a heart attack and so far no next of kin has come to claim the kits. Based on the reason that nobody has come forward to claim the stash as next of kin, I hereby ask for your co operation in using your name as the next of kin to the deceased to send these kits out to a foreign offshore
Hobby Store for mutual sharing between myself and you.
By so doing, what is required is to send an aplication laying
claims of the deposit on your name as next of kin to the late billionaire. I
will need your full name and address telephone/fax number, company or
residential, also your bank name and account, where the money will be
transfer into.
When you contact me, then we shall discuss on how the stash will be split
between us and others we shall also speak in details.
Most respectfully,
ZAKI M'BOTO.
