Possible long shot question but here goes, I'm starting on the Bronco A13 Mk IVa and I'd like to finish it as one of the 2nd RTR cruisers at Beda Fomm (Lt Norman Plough's vehicle if possible) Would anyone have any marking info on these? I'm assuming Caunter scheme, no red/white/red id panels (to early) 7th Armoured Div plus BOS '62'?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Looks like 2RTR's AOS at that time would be 25 on red.

And although there are no 2RTR examples in that time frame on this link, you can get an idea of their markings from the 7QoH vehicles as they were the senior regiment in the same Brigade:

No doubt someone will come along with firm info soon...

A follow question, if I may. How do you determine which is the senior regiment in a brigade ? In Jan/Feb there were the 7th Hussars and the 2nd RTR I'd like to get the squadron colour right, with Senior = Red, Junior = Blue, second senior = Yellow

Many thanks

It's an old British Army thing called the Order Of Precedence and how long a regiment has been in continuous existence.
Very pernickety on their regimental history these old army wallahs.

As far as telling which is the senior without knowing that, the ascending numbers give it away in almost all cases. 2RTR were the second regiment in that brigade, therefore Sqn tac signs would be yellow.
