I have the Trumpeter LAV-A2 and I am almost completed and set to start painting, I am just waiting for my ECM kit from legend to come in mail.
I was curious after looking at art on box. On the boxart, it shows another LAV in background with ECM mounted, and it looks like Blast Shields on the turrett. Is there any truth to that? And if so, is there an AM kit for those shields?

The Blast LAV-A2 update sent confuses me. It comes with the older looking exhaust. Do the ones in Iraq not have the newer exhaust like in the kit?

I believe the exhaust in the kit is of the first type used on the A2 when it came out. I think the one included in the blast kit maybe a newer model being fielded, but I have also seen where the exhaust from Blast has the exhaust pipe pointing down not up as in the Blast kit.

interesting- the kit exhaust looks to have some sort of cover on it, similiar to the SLEP muffler. The blast one looks like it would be an older version
