I'm really curious how the quality of this kit will hold up against the GWH one. I have my money on that last one. Especially with my current experiences with the E-75 and E-50 in mind...

I doubt it. We don't (currently) do comparison Reviews here. What you WILL see is a Review of this when Trumpeter makes it available to us. The GWH K44 has already been Reviewed:

The BUILD LOG can be seen:

If Terry Ashley, Cookie Sewell, or any of the other well known reviewers out in cyberspace were interested enough in artillery then I'm sure we'd see a comparison review of the two

Well, if they want to do a comparison, then it's up to them. We DON'T (at the present moment) do these kind of Reviews.

Personally, i'm not that keen on this type of Review anyway. The usual result is pissed-off manufacturers who (mis) interpret these Reviews as an attack on them. If messrs Ashley & Sewell want to compare them it makes no difference to us whatsoever.

Well, I am one who believes comparison reviews are indeed very useful. If manufacturers get upset I say so what! I much rather pick up the best kit of the same subject than to try and make 'friends' with any particular model company.

In the case of this particular Trumpeter release, I say it looks absolutely stunning! I have the GWH kit but by the looks of it Trumpy really put a lot of work into this one. I wouldn't mind picking one up for sure.

Since the GWH K44 has already been Reviewed and the Trumpeter one WILL be Reviewed when it's available, it might not be too difficult for people to jump about between the two Reviews?

As to the previous comments about Cookie Sewell, perhaps he could start including images in his Reviews?

Hmm have to see what the price is and it comes with PE gun shields in the box, which is an advantage over the GWM one...

I believe dragon models or Trumpeter models are doing it in 1/35 as I have seen a picture somewhere of it.
Hope this helps.

We really need an Sdkfz 12 being done by these guys if your listening. What about the street fighting version of the 80cm gustav i have only seen one pic of this. It never left the drawing board let alone the factory lol

Nice that there turning there attention to things other than Tiger's and Panther's
