Hi everyone..
I´m wondering if the 3,7 cm Flak 37,which dragon provides with their Kfz.7/2 kits was used on a Opel Blitz?

I saw know about "Vierling" 2 cm Flaks on Blitz..but how about the 3,7 one?

Thx.

I believe the Flak 37 would have been a bit too heavy for the Opel Blitz chassis . It's OK for a bigger truck like a Mercedes L4500...at least that's what Roco think :

Here's a 3,7cm Flak 36 on a L4500 with an armored cab :

The Opel could support the single 20 mm Flak, but the 37 mm or the quad 20 mm required a heavier chassis. The weight of these guns and the recoil forces would distort the chassis frame.

You could down size the gun for the Opel or mount your 37 mm or quad 20 mm on a Bergepanther (early) or a turretless Panther. I am not sure if they were welded on or bolted on the Panthers
