I have just started to build the Hobbyboss version of the Super Pershing and need a little advice. Most pictures of the actual tank and of previously built models show the tank with a definite nose down attitude due to the extra armour added, does the kit come with this built in ( I suspect not) if not what is the best way to go about replicating this?
All the best,
Peter.
P.s. any other tips on this kit would be greatly appreciated.

I read somewhere that the "A 2" decals represent markings that were added post-war, in which case leave them off if you want to depict the tank as it was in March '45.

I'm the one promulgating the fact to omit the "A" and the "2". This is direct information from one of the surviving crew members, John Irwin.
On the HB kit, you want to fill in the back of the "batwing" armor -- they should be slabs. Also the frontmost fender support should be triangular, not rectangular. Omit the rear bulkhead telephone. Shave off the round vents on the fender locker doors. The travel lock was modified by welding extensions to the arms. I also don't like HB's interpretation of how the headlights were mounted.

Not seen the HB kit, but the WW II version did not have the "stiffiners" below the gear box castings....behind and below the rear sprockets.

Thanks for the response chaps, Roy I have read you account on Track Link, very helpful. Have had to order an aluminium barrel as the kit one shoots around corners.
All the best,
Peter.
