Hey guys!

Since the Abrams build is drawing to a close (to anyone following that, I'll post some photos later this week of the base) I decided to start a new build.

I picked up the DML Panther Ausf. A (no. 6160) at the War and Peace show this year, so I though I'd build it as Panther in the Anzio are around 1944. Now I have to warn you that I have no idea about panthers, so this isnt going to be a completely accurate build, but any help in improving my build would be greatly appreciated.

Well, the DML kit is a bit out of date now (I think a new Italian Panther has been released) but its still a nicely detailed kit. I did invest in the eduard etch set for it, so this is also my first attempt at an etch set!! I also picked up the masterclub track set to replace the kit ones, which arent as fine and dont have hollow guide horns

Enough talk, on to the model:

Well, like I said, I dont have much knowledge about Panthers, so if anyone can provide photos or any other info, I'd greatly appreciate it.

If anyone knows of a decal sheet for Italian panthers please let me know.

Thanks for looking, and any comments and criticsms welcome of course

Very nicely done! I can wait to see how it turns out after some paint.

I could think only about one thing to add to your Panther (which is very nicely built). One world: zimmerit. All "A"s had it so it should be there.
