Hello all:
I'm in the process of building the Academy 1/35 stuart honey. Out of the schemes they give you decals for, I'm going to do the British commonwealth. (by the way, I'm aware that the interior is not correct for the M3, but I'm going to build it that way anyhow....it's just for my own enjoyment).
The instructions state that the interior color should be flat white. Would that apply for both American, and British versions? I know it was a lend lease tank, and so I'm assuming that they british wouldn't have repainted the interior, but I just want to make sure.
Thanks for any insight you can offer.

Hi
I'm working (slowly) on the same kit.
I have painted the interior white.
There are a bunch of useful photos in a recent Military Modelling: Vol 32 issue 12.
I used a couple of drawings from AFVInteriors to help with building the ammo bins, and added milliput pads to the horizontal surfaces in the hull. I'm not sure how much will be visible when it's done! From what I can tell there should be at least two fire extinguishers in there, and neither was in the spot indicated in the instructions!
Cheers
Andy

Thanks Herberta!
Yeah, from what I understand, the interior is not appropriate for the M3...it's more in the line of an M3A1 interior. I'm going to have all the hatches open, but will have figures in each one so I'm not sure how much interior will show either. I'm just going to build it as is and see what happens.

is it possible for you to scan copies of the interior and send them to my email address that is listed on this site? I am planning to build the same academy kit in the future and would be grateful if you could do this for me.
Mail sent, let me know if/when you get it.
Cheers
Andy
