This is a follow up to my thread about acquiring a mystery 1/35th hetzer. First I would like to thank Gary Kato (garykato) and Jeremy H (von Hengest) for helping me to figure out which unboxed hetzer kit I picked up for the grand sum of $3 yesterday, it seems to be the old Italeri kit. Now I have to try to find a source for the instructions. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would be very grateful. Then I can determne what AM stuff I might need.

Eduard makes a pe set for it, # 35343 and Verlinden makes am items for it too. There are a couple on ebay now so I would try contacting one of the sellers and see if they can do a scan of the sheet for you. There is also a web site with free instructions but cant remember the address.

I built this a few years ago and it goes together pretty well. Sorry but I didn't keep the instructions. It was also released under the BILEK label.
One thing to bear in mind IIRC is that it is a little overscale.

Here's an
article from ML on the Hetzer with a tweaks list on PG 5 for the Italeri Kit including suggested aftermarket sets

It's a simple enough kit and If you cant find the Italeri instructions you should be able to puzzle it out from the Tamiya instructions which are online here

Thanks for the help guys. Ernie, thank you for the Eduard set # I could figure out which one was the correct one. I know about the Verlinden sets, but as I doubt the interior will be visible and to buy both would cost tens times what I paid for the kit I think I am going to pass on those.

Pat I will check out those links.

Andy, I don't know if it is kit #209, until last night all I knew was that is was a complete (minus instructions, box and decals) 1/35th hetzer. If you can either scan the instructions you have or mail them to me I would be much obliged, and even if it is not the right set, I should be able to fake it.

Again thanks guys.

Yes, I agree with you on that point. Have you considered doing a cut out model, by removing some of the sections to show the interior? I have the Eduard Hetzer that has a complete engine and interior. I'm considering doing the cut outs to see all those nice details.
