Hi there
I am planning a little one-man group build of several Panzer IIIs in different guises and am trying to decide which models to go for.
I have the new Panzer III Ausf. F from Dragon which looks beautiflly moulded and I think will be a real treat to build. Dragon #6632 Panzer III Ausf. F
I will probably go for the new Ausf. N with Winterketten which also has glowing reviews. Dragon #6606 Panzer III Ausf. N
For the third and final model in this rather ambitious project, I am thinking of doing a DAK Ausf J with the spaced aromour and am considering the Dragon # 6394 2-in-1 model. This was released in 2007 and again received a glowing review. Dragon #6394 Panzer III Ausf. J
Before I buy the Ausf. J, can anybody tell me whether the older kit will measure up ot the newer ones? i want to build OOB and focus on clean building and new painting techniques so do not want to be messing around with PE to bring it up to speed.
Your thoughts will be much appreciated.
Noel

Noel,
All of the kits share the same Smart Kit heritage so you shouldn't have any problems/concerns about the 2007 kit measuring up to the more recent releases. Sounds like a great Pz III project you've got running, look forward to seeing the results.
