Hi guys (and possibly girls), I'm looking for two 35th scale US post-WW2 tank kits. One is an M-55 self-propelled gun by Renwal and the other one is an M-103 tank but Commander Models, I believe.
Anyone know where I can get one?
Cheers,
Don

Don,
The M55 occassionally pops up on Ebay. I've never seen the M103 though.

Don,
Your best bet for the Renwal kit is ebay or a show. A lot of kits from collections get sold at shows, OOP kit vendors like the low overhead and they do great business.
For the Commander's kit, be patient. Nobody I know that has one is willing to part with it. The Accurate Armour kit has been promised for 5 years now and still isn't close to daylight. However, Ted, the owner of Commander's, is re-launching his line with new kits and depending on the condition of the molds, old ones too. Those of us who see Ted 5 or 6 times a year are urging him to put the M-103 on the re-release list.

Also look for the Revell History Makers Series Self Propelled Howitzer. It is the same kit reboxed in the 1980s.

Yes, and excellent new kits. I have the new Gama Goat and it's a spectacular kit. Here's the new website - Commander Models
Make sure you email Ted and implore him to resurrect the M-103 kit!
AND he'll be a vendor at our show, IPMS AMPSEast in Danbury, Connecticut, on September 24th and 25th with all his current kits for sale. IPMS AMPSEast
