Hi all
I just started building Dragon 6511 M4 Normandy. I want to build "cannonball from the 70th Tank Battalion.
I ran into a lot of unknowns. ( I normally build modern armour, where there are tons of reference material )
My Tank has vehicle number 3066192. Is the a database or simular, where I can se which exact subversion this Sherman was, so I can build it with the proper transmission cover ect.
Who made a resin deep wading kit for this model ?
I also need pictures of the fittings for the T40 Whiz-Bang demolition rocket launcher.
The rocket launcher where not used, but the fittings was stil attached to the turred during D-day.
( I got two pictures of "my" tank from a fellow modeller in here )
Regards
Bobber

Hey Boerge
I'm certain this can be of help, and also a talented modeller's interpretation of the more famous photo you have of the tank. He has omitted the mounts, but has included his interpretation of the strange accompanying 'sight'.

I love the 70th TB and markings, and know that this one was rescued and pressed back into the assault inland.
