Hi all,

Quick background... I want to build a Stryker for my brother=in-law who is serving right now with a stryker unit in Afghanistan. I originally thought his unit would be fielding M1134s w/ATGM and dutifully bought the AFV kit (great kit). However, I just learned from him that they are actually using the infantry variant (after getting 1/2 way through the 1134 kit)

I have AFV's M1130 Command version kit on the shelf. My question is: Can I use the M1130 kit for the infantry variant (M1126)? The only outward difference I see is between the M1126 and M1130 is an extra power portal (?) on the right side of the vehicle. I'm guessing that I will need to cover up that portal, no?

I don't have reference pics yet, but I know they have slat armor. Is the rhino and tire protection kit universal now?

Greatly appreciate any advice!

The differeneces between a CV and an ICV:

SEP (Signal Entry Panel) on the right side of the truck
HF (Harris) Radio on the left rear of the truck, (antenna and coupler)
Shadowfire Antenna on the rear center

And the ASIP and EPLRS antennae layout are a little different (IIRC)

I haven't seen an ICV up close in a couple years, so I'm fuzzy about the antenna layout.
