I agree and pointed this out the last time you posted this dio here. The dio doesn't make sense. Are they all deaf? How could either side not tell the other is there. They are on top of eachother. Also, in my opinion, the heads are distasteful, no matter which side they are. The dio just doesn't tell a story and is too crowded. It is nicely made and you have good skills, just not good judgement.

I've quoted Gino's post because it's spot on and I agree 100%. The diorama, putting aside the gruesome parts in the VC area, just doesn't make sense.

Dear all,
Apologize if I was impolote post unsecsored one before...and let you fell gruesome from what I made. You guys here said correct that I didn't sensored from 2 heads in Thailand forums but I need to let you see the other composition in this dio which I meant it i.e. rocks, trees, tunnel rat, etc.....(I really didn't mean the gruesome in the scene). - -> I say from the bottom of my heart!!!!!
I agree with Gino and Juan that I made something not suitable before.
That was why this time sensored...Sorry about that.
Pleaseeeeeeeeee......help help me to comment in other part of compositions to make more improvement because all comments are very important for every modellers such myself as well.
For the scene which may different from the story or even exactly same as the history. I think more important is "how can we explain what we though through visible models we make.
P.S. I also post sensored one in Thanks & Things as Juan mention before because I think there will not appropiate for gruesome.
Hope that you understand the point....thank you very much

whoa, i wanted to see more but i didn't expect cut off heads !?!
though i can understand that there is brutality in combat i prefer a more subtle interpretation of the horrors of war. just my opinion, not a judgment on your skills and the idea that drove the scene's creation. agree with Gino and Alan about the deafness, perhaps having the VC looking up at the americans above would have helped. mh.

The scenerly is well made. But I agree with everybody else. Both sides must be totally deaf. If you had more of the americans running to the edge to engage the VC it might make more sense. At the tunnel entrance you show like something is up. But the rest of the Americans are just lounging around. I also agree It could do without the heads!!

Hi there
Photo journalism is a very touchy subject when it comes to images of war, death and brutality. It amazes me that there is every bit as much of variation in peoples opinions and acceptance level in photos as there is with dioramas.
To compare, I have bought loads of books from The Works (a mainstream British bargain book shop) on WW1, WW2 and other conflicts that contain often very frank and lurid scenes of the true horrer of war. I have even seen the early photographic records of the American Civil War.
I am afraid to say, that I for one, cannot accept that a hobby such as ours that specifically looks at such wide and varied tools and equipment for killing and maiming cannot be as responsive to the aftermath of using these dealers in DEATH !
After all, we must be able to appreciate that if we are to use these weapons, the reality is that people WILL BE MAIMED AND KILLED.
I would rather that people are shown the true HORRERS of war as sanitising war, in some ways, makes it more acceptable that it is ok for others to do our bidding, and for others, friend or foe, to be killed or injured in the process.
Dioramas are a way to do photo journalism in a three D manner.
Sensor this dio and you should therefor sensor a dio containing a single knife, sword, gun or even a clenched fist.
Just my humble oppinion for what it is worth, and this is with the GREATEST RESPECT to all the fine modellers who contribute on this fantastic site.
Nigel

Dear Juan and Nigel,
Thanks so much for your helpful feedback to me. I understand your point.
Also in the film production, they trying to avoid this as well.
Now I learnt from this when making next dio to be more carefully to tell the story.
I will avoid to present in any kind of violence or any kind disgusting.
I'm OK to see your feedback...
