Also, the Leo 1, Leo 2 Series and LAV III Series are still availiable.
I wanted to ask those that have recieved the DVDs to please put any positive or negative critique on this forum.
Anyways, a couple of teasers follow, enjoy.

It is very cool to look at your DVD and note all the major and subtle changes on the M113......it certainly has changed and a good thing they were not retired.
Ken, your DVD is great and you did the TLAV and MTV series justice with your endless photos.
For those considering the DVD here is what you get.....
1. M113A3 with One Metre Turret.....if there is an external angle to be photographed Ken did it......great coverage of all details and excellent images of the bar armour package. The only thing that would have been great to see would have been the mounting frame for the bar armour that attaches to the hull sides......but there would have had to have been a vehicle with that exposed and you did the best you can with what was there.
2. M113A3 with RWS.....again, great images of the M113A3 and fantastic images of the RWS and the rear gun shields.
3. There's good images of a deployed M113A3 with RWS....remember....4 ball and one tracer in the belt.
4. M577A3......this is cool to see in detail.,....man, how those "Queen Marys" have been updated.....excellent shots of the upgrades and modifications and of the Soucy track too. This would be a great conversion!
5. Mobile Tactical Vehicle Fitter (MTVF)- a stretched and chopped M113....very interesting vehicle....they have a crane and storage and all the bits and bobs the Vehicle Techs need.....it looks almost Israeli the way it has been modified. Hard to believe it is Canadian!
6. MTVL with One Metre Turret......the MTV series took M113A2s and modified them by adding a road wheel and modifiying the hull rear and creating a new upper hatch configuration. A very interesting evolution of the M113.
7. As a bonus the M777 155 mm Howitzer....the "Triple 7" is a fantastic gun and a huge asset to the forces in Afghanistan....this is a great walkaround and a very detailed look at this gun.....I think the version used by the Canadians is the M777A2.
Again, this is a wonderful DVD of images of the TLAV, MTV series, and the M777.....great references for anyone interested in these weapons of war.

Hi Jason
If the bar armor kit is the same as the one fitted to US M113A3s (looks like it is to me...) , these pics should interest you :

Yes, the bar armour is essentially the same on both the Canadian and U.S. packages for the M113A3.
There are slight additions to the Canadian package on the front of the hull with a step/tread plate.
Thanks for the link to the images....they would for sure help any aftermarket company desiring to create a PE bar armour package for the M113.
I think the there might be differences in the actual hull mounting frames.....I'll have to take a closer look.
