Hi everyone,
just thought i would share something that i came across a while back.
I like using pastels to weather my models, but the only probelm is that you can't touch the model after applying them.
Until i discovered that once you have finished weathering with your pastels, give the model a quick coat of hair spray, let it dry & job done. All that pastel is fixed, no finger marks & no colour distorsion.
I have been using this for a while now, and i've had no adverse effects.

Hi Scott,
The arisols are better than pumps, and as to manufacture i've tried VO5, shockwaves, pantaine.
I dont think it really matters who makes them, they all do the same job. :-) :-) :-)

I've used hairspray to fix very light ground clutter and it's looked pretty flat. I think it'd look flat on the pastels, too.

Thanks for the tip sweatydogz. My wife does drawings with pastels and i had been using her spray fixative, which is not cheap. Hair spray has got to be a cheaper alternative and will also stop her complaining.
