This is my first diorama ended 2 months ago!
The tank is M13/40 Regio Esercito, 1/72 scale by Italeri, placed in the lybian desert Bir el Gobi. M13/40 wait for offensive against british force during Crusader Operation dated 19 November 1941.

This is the image that gives me the idea...

Diorama...

The sand bags are self-made!

Hi
the terrain looks like the original, so you did already good.
Doing some things on your own like the sandbags is also a step in the right direction.
You probably know yourself that you need to improve in figure and panzer painting.

You absolutely need to border your dio or vignette with something nice so that we don't see the styropor.

Cheers
Claude

i agree with all aspects of Mr Joachim's comments and would like to add that painting in 1/72 is always a challenge. i've done some 1/72 kits and now stay to 1/35 after seeing how tiny these kits are to paint.

though you have finished the diorama i would like to suggest adding a bit more of a wash still to help bring out some of the details such the hatches, rivets and sandbags. great job all around though and thank you for sharing your hard efforts with us. cheers, mh.

Looks good, especially for first the time. You will most likely have better results if you try a larger scale. Some of the modelers can really make those small models look great, but I think that beginners and intermediate modelers can show better detail in 35 th scale. Really great modelers will blow you away in 35 th. Most accessories come in 35 th scale.........just my 2 cents worth.....very nice 1st dio......ciao.......Al

Thanks for all!
In fact I've just buied two kits:
Hotchkiss H38/39 1/35 scale by Bronco and the soldiers by Dragon named Blitzkrieg in France to do another dio in 1/35 scale.
We are fantastic, thanks for your helping!
