Looks great so far.
I'm happy to see someone take on the Trumpeter kit for a change. It isn't a bad kit at all.

I was half-asleep last night....just realised the slat is not PE! What set is it or did you make it yourself?
Cheers,
Sean

Where did you get the plastic slant armor? I didn't know they made it other than PE. I got the PE stuff for the next Stryker I'm going to build but for now I'm doing the Trumpiter without slant armor.
I'll be keeping an eye on your thread as it is interesting.

Im guessing he made it himself with plasti card.
Its a nice build, and I applaud your efforts with the plasti card, but the stryker is missing the stand off armor thats mounted to the hull sides before the slat

Hi Rob
This production is not very accurate, there are a lot of mistakes. Because my information is very limited. So this is it, I will be making the M1131 to improve it.
Also thank you for your reply.

Hello everybody
Finally completed, although there are a lot of mistakes. But it is fun, great sense of accomplishment. Hope you like it too.

Nice job looks great
I wish I had the time and the patience to put together just the pe set let alone do one from scratch
I have been sitting on the pro art model resin and pe set for over a year with no intension to build it
I wish some one would put it out in plastic (lets go AFV). I would pay $50 for it just so I could model the subject and not have to build the cage piece by piece
I mean the did it for the Lepard so whats up
Any how
Very Nice build

That build looks really nice and you show nice skills for a scratch build. I have a set of Big Ed for one of the Stryker kits I have and will get into it at a later date. I'm currently working on a fantasy version of the Stryker from the Trumpeter kit similar to yours. I’m calling it a fantasy version because of the way I’m going to paint the model. I will start a post soon to show the few photos I have of the progress as well as the “fantasy” painting I’m doing.

Hi Wayne
Using PE to install, is a very good choice. It is a work of art.
Come on Wayne.
Thank you for your reply
