Both are fitted with the new Mk47 40mm grenade launcher in use with US Special Operations Forces that will eventually replace the Mk19.

My god, how far have we come from the basic 1025 and the likes. I like the fording exhaust - I thought it was a marine feature? and the tires are new judging from the thread pattern?

I find it curious that this new grenade launcher has a display similar to the TV cameras.
Hi Juan
I've read that the Mk47 (a.k.a. Striker 40) is equipped with an integrated Lightweight Video System (LVS) fire control, capable of firing 40mm programmable air-bursting as well as conventional high velocity ammunition. It must have something to do with the display your talking about...

I went to download this last image and I already had it in my collection. I thought it strange that I didn't notice the GL when I downloaded it, I'll have to go back and see if there are any more.
Thanks for the search.
Bill
Oh yeah the image title says SEAL's mk 47, no meta data.

Nice find.
I was responding to Frenchy's image of the HMMWV with the unusual camo pattern and Henk must have posted just before I did, sorry for the confusion.
Now we need some body to actually make a plastic ATV!

Thanks for that, all I know is that the HMMWV with the dirt bike is from the New Zealand SAS.

Amazing what you can find searching for HMMWV's.

Hay "Frenchy" On behalf of our soldiers on the feld of battel, I'd like to thank you for blocking out the faces of our serving soldiers. As I was told by a friend there safety is ultimately more important than our lust for new photos from the combat Zone., For our projects.
So thanks once again, and I hope we all remember to do this same action as well!

I agree with you Captin, but to say the truth, faces and unit markings were already blocked out when I came across this picture.

Cool, the blocking out may have bean dont by the guy or girl that poped them. This may be a special forces groupe ot team. I'm

a ibt to get back on topic. I see that Legend Productions has a Special Forces GMV Conversion Set out that has those BF Goodrich TSL Super Swamper tires.
Sorry guys I don't ahve any photos to post but here's a link to that kit on Military Models and Squadron.
MilitaryModels Squadron_Resin-kits As for that bike on the rear of the last photo one could modify the Tamiya:(JGSDF Motorcycle Reconnaissance Set's) bike to look the part of the bike oin the photo.
