i recently bought some johnsons floor wax. it's in a yellow tin. is that the right stuff or not. it doesn't say future on it at all. it's a wax and it's kinda brownish/yellow. i hope it's the right stuff b/c it was $5

maybe stupid question but for what do you wanna use it?
because you can buy future in yr model shop in a spray can or a paint tin or someth,,,

The Johnson's floor wax used for modelling is an acrylic liquid wax. In the U.S. it is called FUTURE. It is almost clear. I do not know what tradename it is in other parts of the world.

yea than i guess i wasted $5. oh well. i tried using it to glossen (is that a word?) it up and wash. but the paint oils just beaded off of it. now i *ruined* a marder3

does it anyhow damage the model (i mean the colouer and so on)?

it doesn't damage it but it does give it a cloudy looking color.

you dont have 2 do a cloudy overspray with yr airbrush to get it dusted
